Is there any ice on Blair's Bay?  Probably not after this warm up, but I love fishing that bay.

Encon states that Perch over 9" have high levels of mercury in the adirondacks and you should eat none. Also the fishing is on the decline due to the newly introduced Asian clams/zebra mussels. I guess we should just stow the auger and wait for spring trout season.  ::)
it states that women and children should eat none

fished lakers today ended up with 7 all short,6 jiggin and 1 on tip up.lost a keeper size 1 at the whole and had a few missed hits.the snow that wax on the ice melted and water was swirling in the holes pretty good, curious to see how the ice holds up after the 3" of rain we're supposed to get.there was 2" of water on the ice already with the snow melt.

man its really melting right now... 50 degrees still this sucks i know its not gonna be safe in some spots if you do go out make sure your extra careful its really raining and when there is alot of water on the ice it sinks down and the more it sinks the more it melts...

BE SAFE AND USE A SPUD BAR... UNLESS YOU WANT TO GO SWIMMING

The black ice is deceiving.  There's a good 5-6" there.
Were you off MDB?  That seems to have the most ice on the lake.

Called Mr. Jack Frost tonight - said for the next 10 days high temps will be in the low 30's - lows will be in the teens to low 20's.  I just hope Jack likes to ice fish ... or if he is full of jack :o

Awesome video man.
You should have stayed man. It was slow until we cut a couple magic holes where mealworm pointed us towards.
Once the rain started really coming down the perch started charging up 3' or more to smash our Halis.
Crazy action. I had to stop fishing ( Limit) and pick up while Tank took a few more. We pushed it right up until dark.
One of the creepiest walks off the ice I've taken. It was down to 4" by the time we left with 2" of water on top.
Couldn't see a darn thing walking back in.
The 2 of us took 90 with a bonus Seed.  ;D
