Ice Wanderer, Hope you had a good day. How is your hand doing? Have you heard about more pt appointments.

Whopper Stopper, Thats to bad the fawn didn’t trigger the camera. Hopefully the tree job at your S-I-l went well. To bad they didn’t let you take the tree down last year.

Hunts2long, Hope you had a good day on the water.

Mason Eddie, Hope you get good news about the grand baby. Hopefully today was a little cooler to work.

I hope everyone has a great evening and a goodnight. God Bless

WW the rest came from 4:00 to 6:00 am.  The struggle continues.  The IV pharmacy called wanting to know if we still needed the antibiotics delivered....Well Duah...what does the order say ???? ::)  A neighbor lady that didn't fracture the same bone, but broke it,  says she should have the inflatable doughnut to sit on and sure enough went through the same hassle with the same HMO a few years back.  Finally got the visiting nurse to put a bandage on the open bed sores on her bottom.  That was pure exhaustion getting her to even, close to standing during that.  Catch a good one, need more fish porn  ;D

Starting to pick a few rip tomatoes  ;D

Another neighbor dropped off a big bottle of Irish Cream   Now its 4 fingers time.

Steve, not going to hold my breath

H2L....Go getem.

Eddie, an empty cup will do, I'll pretend there is coffee in the Irish Cream

Good evening a little break in temperature and humidity today before Triple H weather arrives for the weekend. I had to make a trip to Sullivan county today(south western Catskill mountain region of NY) traveling in one community saw more doe's and there fawns in ten minutes or lees then I've have seen in weeks.
Eddie the pop-up Summer storms are a pain when trying to work outside sounds like your crew is back to speed after the furlough. I will check back in the morning to see if you have a new grandchild.
Hunts2long hope you found the walleyes and some were of legal size.
Whopper Stopper thankfully the tree only damaged your SIL's flower garden and not her house of car. Hope you took frequent breaks while cutting up the tree. To bad the doe and her fawn did not trigger the game camera hopefulyl they return and you get some video to post.
Wallyworld how was your day on the water ,what lake did you fish.
Ice Wanderer  are you starting to harvest from your garden yet. Guessing the Lake George area is in full Summer time vacation mode. I say plenty of folks out and about while driving though Sullivan county.
Icefisher-45 when your wife goes to the sleep lab may the tests help doctor's find the reason for her near constant tiredness. I hope the past few days have been good ones for you.
IFF take your time drinking that bottle of Irish Cream. ::) ;D Guess we can add improving the medical system to list of things our country need to work on and hopefully make an improvement.

Have a good night and stay safe. Best to all fishing keep hydrated when out in the Triple H weather.

Good morning mr.clean! Good morning everyone

77 heading into the mid 90's today. The air is going to be thick :%$#!:

h2l hope you were able to land a few yesterday

We are taking off in about a half hour for the shack. I want to do a few things to the baiting area and a couple things around the shack itself. We want to get up there and back before the real heat sets in for the day. Rain and storms to the west of us hopefully we can wrap things up before they get here.

Hope you all have a good day  Stay safe and healthy.

Good morning ER's,
It's 63* and clear, today is the start of HHH,near 90* today.
Marv .......Have a safe trip to "The Shack"
Steve......Yes, my wife had picked some summer squash and green beans, we had them for dinner last night.
I-45..........I hope they can regulate your wife's sleep problems with a new mask. I did the sleep study, all it told them that I snored loud and had sleep apnea. No word yet that the approval has gone through.
Eddie.......Well are we grandparents yet. Lol I feel that we are part of the family.
             H2l...........How was the trip yesterday.
Bud..........Sometimes I wonder about the medical field. The pharmacy should have read the order.
Not much going on today, maybe mowing the grass.
I hope everyone has a good Saturday either at work or out. Stay Safe and Healthy.

Whopper Stopper have a safe trip to and back from the "Shack" may you beat out any rain and the heat of the day.
Ice Wanderer glad your wife's garden is starting to produce, any word on approval for more PT sessions.
Eddie as one of the weekly scandal sheets used to advertise "Inquiring minds need to know ." I 'm sending you a PM with my mailing address so you can send me a Celebratory ice jig in place of the customary cigar since I do not smoke. ::) :roflmao:

Everyone have a good and safe day I will check back latter to read all of your daily posts and to see if Eddie has a new grandchild.

Morning all,

Eddie...... ??? ??? ??? ???  like IW said we're all waiting for news of "our" new grandbaby  ;D

WS.....hope all goes well at the shack today  ;)   safe travels

IW.....the grass has really taken off since having some rain, almost like spring grass

IF45.....hope Mrs45 can get what she needs to be able to sleep  :)

H2L.....sorry the fishing has been so tough this year  :'(

MrC....we just made a quick trip to Oneida Lake yesterday, MrWW had an early appointment so we got a late start   ::)

IFF.....thoughts and prayers that things start improving out your way soon  :-\    this one's for you sir  ;)2

Picked up those 5 and 3 short ones, couldn't scare up the last legal one to make a limit  ::)  Hotter than hell, not a breeze to be found, water temp was 84.3* at 3:00 when we called it quits

Was just watching 3 does and 2 fawns (finally) in the backyard, the does were picking apples off the trees and the fawns were stretching their legs  :woot:  wild and crazy little guys running just as fast as they could and jumping all over like bucking broncos  :roflmao:  first time the Moms have brought them out in the open

Have a good day. Stay safe, stay healthy.

63* and looks like the HOT weather is returning.
WW, so that is what they look like. Not a bad day. I haven't seen any fawns yet.
WS, have a good trip to the shack.
IFF, those people sure do like making lots of phone calls. Irish Cream can be a good start to your day.
Another skunk in the books. As WW said, hot, not much wind, water temp in low 80's. Because there was so little wind I took a 10 mile run down toward the dam. Marked a lot of fish but no takers. As my old fishing buddy Herb use to say, "strange". I did hear that someone caught a 29" walleye and I saw a picture of it. It was released.
Hope everyone has a good day and stay well....h2l

Good afternoon everyone

Dang, I thought Eddie would have posted some pictures by now ???

Our trip north was a quick and productive. As we were about 250 yards from the shack the sow and 2 cubs crossed the road right in front of us, talk about a rush. When I was at the shack this past week I had left some bags and and a frosting bucket under a 50 gallon barrel behind the shack. Of course the bears found that and scattered the bags around the lawn. I was just glad they didn't find a way inside the shack to the food stash. As it is my wife was getting worried about having them in the yard.

The card had 120 videos from the last 3-4 days. Most were of the sow and 2 cubs, but the yearling boar showed up for some handouts.

We decided to move the the bait station about 75 yards closer to the swamp. It's actually the same spot I had set up a stand a couple years ago when I was hunting bear. The main reason for the move was to utilize an existing pit and also there are better trees for stand placement. Even though we were seeing bear there just wasn't a good spot to hang a stand.

Hope everyone is having a good Saturday  Stay safe and healthy.

Eddie that is great news! I hope both baby and his mother are doing well, congratulations to you and your DIL's  parents . Pleas give my Congratulations to Stephen and his wife.
Wallyworld congratulations to the two of you on the legal walleyes.   I think fawns are now old enough to be eating foods besides their mom's milk so we are seeing them with the does instead of the does hiding them away in a safe place for majority of the day.
Hunts2long keep trying eventually you will defeat the striped kitty.
Old Goat tomorrow things get nasty here in NY. and rest of the North East in regards to weather.
Whopper Stopper always exciting to see bears up close. You may want to soak some rags in ammonia and scatter around the shack or do the same with some cheap hot pepper sauce. Smart thinking to relocated the bait pile to spot with better places to place your tree stand/stands.
Drifter hope you had a good week and found some time to fish or work on the cabin.
Tomturkey is the pontoon boat ready to hit the water. May the massage treatment be helping your wife's legs.
IFF hope today was a better on for the two of you.
Capt.Jim think you will see crowds given the weather forecast for tomorrow. I hope you are making progress with regards to moving.

I guess with moments of happiness and joy also come those of sadness had the news on Regis Philburn has passed, hurricane made landfall in one of the Gulf states

Have a good night try and keep cool ,stay hydrated. Good fishing to all.

Good morning ER's,
It's 66* and mostly clear here, a hot day ahead
Eddie........Congratul ations on the new grandson. Emerson is a fine name and can't wait for post on IS from him.
Marv........It's hard to store bear bait away from home, they can smell goodies for miles.
Wally...... That's a nice catch you and Mr. WW got, I wouldn't be to disappointed not getting one more.
Bud.........I hope things at home are getting better. Does a visiting nurse come everyday.
H2l ..........Down to the dam is a long way to travel without getting s bite
Steve.......It:s going to bad here but it's going to be brutel down your way, stay cool.
I got my lawn mowed yesterday then I had to water it, it looked so dry it's better this morning.
Not much going on today with the heat moving in.

A nice cool 60 degrees this morning.
Eddie, congratulations and a WELCOME to Emerson. Good to hear that everyone is doing fine. I checked in 4/5 times yesterday looking for the good news. We are all very happy for you and your family.

IW, only got half way to the dam. Fished the bridge at Edinburg. By water from Northville it is about 22 miles to the dam. If I were to launch at Town of Day it is a 12 mile drive from my house but I am not fond of that launch if it gets windy. Had a guy tell me that he and another guy got 30 walleyes a week ago Thursday. He said almost all were "shorts". Not sure I believe him because he told me where they got them. Yes, I have fished that area a few times this year. It can be a good area, early in the season, but I have never had a lot of luck during the summer.

Hope every one has a good day. Going up to may brothers to pick some blueberrys. He has picked 18 gallons so far. Be safe...h2l

WS.....being up close and personal with bears sure does get the old heart pumping  :roflmao:  I still cringe when I think of our encounter with a grizzly in Alaska 4 years ago  :pinch:

H2L.....fresh picked blueberries mmmm mmmm good

TT......good thing MOST pups quit chewing stuff up once the baby teeth are gone   hope you've managed to get the toon in the water  @)

Put 6 hours and another couple hundred miles on the bike yesterday    got pretty toasty by the time we got back home  @)  going to try to get the lawn done this morning before it gets too hot  ::)

Good Morning Jeff, H2, Wally Morning Everyone,
68 and sunny here this am, warming up to about 90 today.

So many thanks to you all on the best wishes, thoughts and prayers , congratulations on the baby! Such a wonderful group, Thank You!  Will pass them on this morning to my son and Daughter-in-law.

H2...wow, that’s a fantastic harvest of blueberries so far this season!! I’ve tried growing them a few times, never had good luck getting any to take root. Enjoy the picking this morning while it’s cool out there!
Jeff...my son and daughter-in-law kept us all in the blind with the names they had chosen, and they didn’t want to know in advance the sex of the baby. I’m not certain how Emerson was decided upon, but it seems to be a perfect fit!   ;D    Hope your hand is coming along well, how’s the garden looking?
Steve...all are doing well as of 10pm last night, will get an update from my son pretty soon and pass the congratulations on...Thank You!      That was sad hearing the news on Regis yesterday, always liked him! I didn’t realize he was 88...RIP Regis.
Marv...another excellent video, those cubs are growing fast!        Glad the bears didn’t try breaking into the Shack! Hope the new baiting grounds prove to be more productive....looking forward to the adventures again soon!
Wally...very nice catch of Walters for you and Mr.WW last trip out!      Mowing is on the agenda here this morning as well. Finally have some grape tomatoes to pick, lol, nothing to make a BLT with yet though!   ;D
Bud... hope things are improving with your wife and the recent problems you have encountered with the health care issues....thoughts and prayers continued for you both!
I-45, Capt.J, Tom....hope you fellas are doing well.

Haven’t been using my old computer lately, so having some issues posting a picture again. Will work on that today.
We’re all pretty anxious to get our hands on Emerson here,  but that will be a little while yet with the all restrictions in place.
Again, on behalf of the family....Thank You All...will get a picture of your grandson up soon!   ;D    Cawfee’s on...
Have a great day all, be safe, best of luck to those fishing!

Good morning preparing for another hot and humid day folks at Weather Underground website say it will reach to low nineties and feel close to or over 100 in spots with the heat index. Please keep the citizens of Texas in your prayers Hurricane Hanna has left over 250 thousand people without electric power and lots of flooding. See I misspelled Regis Philbin's name last night. A few household chores to due today plan to mostly stay indoors.
Eddie happy to hear mother and baby are doing fine, must be tough time for the grandma's having to wait before they can hold and touch little Emerson . I was wondering if there was any reason for the baby's first name by chance are your son and DIL fans of the rock group Emerson,Lake and Palmer.
Ice Wanderer I've been keeping my window blinds closed or partly open later in the day as was apartment gets the afternoon sun and running the AC and ceiling fans. Don't forget watering your garden in this heat.
Hunts2long I did not realize GSL was so large . Have fun picking the blueberries and then enjoying them assume there will be lots of jelly/jam making any some type of preserving done so the berries can be eaten at a later time. What type of system does your brother have in place to keep the birds away from all those berries.
Wallyworld the two of you must have felt like baked potatoes by the end of your bike ride depending on the clothing your wear while riding. I saw some motorcyclist riding in tank tops and shorts yesterday hope all of them had safe rides. It might be a good idea to do your lawn in sections today taking breaks between each section.
Tomturkey hope were able to get a replacement charger for your nerve stimulator so you can continue using it .  Enjoy the pontoon if you have it on the water.
IFF,Icefishr-45 may today be a good one for you and your wives.
OldSailor hope the stress test results are good and your legs feeling better.

Have a safe and good Sunday.
 Steve

Good Morning Everyone,
Going to be a hot one today...72 with a light breeze this am, high of 92 here, mid to high 90’s down at workplace.

Marv... excellent video, the poults are really putting it on now, what a variety of wildlife!    Hope the tree job was something you were interested in.
  OS, OG...thank you fellas!!
Steve...thoughts and prayers to those in Texas, they got hit hard.  Emerson was just one of the chosen names they liked that could be used for either a boy or girl.

Back to 5am starts,  our supervisor returns back from vacation today. That will be just fine getting out  before the high heat kicks in!
A text from my son last evening stated my daughter-in-law might be released from the hospital as early as today if there are no complications with the incision etc.  They sure don’t keep the Moms in very long anymore...
Time to get ready for the first shift this week....Cawfee’s on!
Have a great day all, be safe, best of luck to those fishing!

                Good Morning Eddie ER's,
It's 72* and it's going to be a warm one here on my hill.
Eddie..........Early starts get early quits. The hospital isn't a good place for a new mom and baby, there are really sick people in there. :roflmao:
Wally..........I'm glad I got my grass mowed on Saturday, this heat the couple of days is too much to be in.  :%$#!:
Marv...........Thanks for sharing the video.
OS.............It hasn't been a lot of fun but I'll try to be more :roflmao: LOL
Steve.........Good idea keeping the blinds down.
I took my wife for a ride yesterday, went up to Hague on Lake George and then to Schroon Lake, the places were jumping with people.
Not much on the schedule today, maybe some boat shopping.
I hope everyone has a good Monday either at work or out. Stay Safe and Healthy.

             IW
