Also Ross's in Hagaman  worth a try 518 842 3819         Depending on which way your coming from

Are we talking about ketchup or is there some fishing item I don't know about?

That makes a hell of a lot more sense! I was trying to figure out why ketchup or pasta sauce would be out of stock near him!

Well then ok.
So for us that are not in the north tell me what the difference is between a hunt and say a shiner or a bass minnow? Cuz I figure they can’t be a fat head must be a type of shiner. I’m interested.

I heard that the bait supplier had a massive die off of hunts, so they won't have any for what's left of the ice season.

Pretty sure they are Eastern Silvery minnows. They look like a cross between an emerald and golden shiner, but super lively. If you’re using light line and weight/split shot isn’t spaced apart right, the bigger ones will twist the hell out of your line, but good laker and trout bait.

Some one also told me two weeks ago no more hunts for the season but I saw them at 307 last week

Went to Wiggly not long ago, and they aren’t going to have them in stock for the rest of the season they said.

Hunts are a good all purpose bait. They are hardy, active an often survive getting hit the first time.
No they will not live after getting eaten by a tooth pike, pickerel or walleye but may survive a trout or perch flag.
