Ice Fishing Ohio
« on: Nov 30, 2003, 03:07 PM »
I started Ice fishing two years ago.  I think it is the greatest thing since I started fishing.  I have a few spots including Pomatumming Lake and Misquitto Lake, as well as Lake Erie.  I am looking for some smaller hot spots that may start earlier in the season.  I'm looking for perch, crappie, or killer blue gills.  Any suggestions around Lake, Geuaga, Stark, or Trumbull Counties???

Mogadore is great for gills too. Mud is a branch of Turkeyfoot in teh Portage Lakes chain. Miller lake is a great gill spot too in PL, look for them deeeeep, 21-22 ft of water. HOT color is BLUE.

Yep. Tim at Long Lake told me about it. Had a little trouble with the password and getting in, but I think I got it fixed.

Anyway, maybe I'll see you at the tournament(s)Saturday.
