Regulations for kids

Anyone know of or know where I can find info on the regulations for children. Looking to get my 6 and 8 year olds into ice fishing. Wondering how many lines they are allowed and at what age they need a liscense

NJ F&G website will give you the info you need. 5 lines in the water and  no license until 14 I think.

Five lines for ice fishing is correct but the age when a license is required is 16.  You can get a free compendium at most sports stores or look on line at

Thanks guys. I heard somewhere it was only 3 lines for kids but had trouble finding the info online
