Lake Francis

Does anyone have any suggestions where to go to on Lake Francis, near Valier.  I've never been there before and thought I would give it a try.

Hi Gusher- Go through town, and turn in at the Lighthouse Bar and Restaraunt. There is access right there, or you can drive down the dam (dike) to the west and there is another access there. You could also take the "y" to the right just before you drive out of town headed west. This will take you over to the island fishing access. Be careful in any case. One vehicle has already went through the ice this year. >:( There is about 18 - 20 iches of ice right now. Good Luck and stay on the dry side of the ice. I hope this helps.  ;D

No- I don't think that I will be going to the tournament this year. There have been soooo many people fishing the weekends on a normal weekend, that I can't imagine what it will be like on tourny day  :P. So I think that I will pass this year. I will probably be going there on tuesday though, if the weather holds.  :D Good luck if you go!!

Anyone have any updated info about Francis? Heard it has been SLOW fishing there this season.  :(
