Ice flasher for crappie kayak fishing?
« on: Jan 23, 2024, 01:04 PM »
I bought a Marcum flasher 6 years ago and unfortunately haven't been able to use it a while lot because of the short ice seasons here in PA. It's there a way to set them up on a kayak for vertical jigging??? Anyone ever try this???
: )

Most times if you get the transducer wet it will shoot through the bottom of your kayak and read just fine. The trouble is keeping your jig under you if you are drifting

Sometimes when I’m going crappie fishing on the canoe I bring my vexilar. Works fine if your anchored up. I also bring one ice rod. Works great when you’re on them.
To catch them all…you gotta catch them small
