Hadn't thought of it, probably because I won't go on the ice when it goes through. Saved my skin a number of times.
Funny how my most important piece of fishing gear only gets used 2-3 weeks per year.

When ya do hit a weird spot, that sucker'll go thru yer hand like a rocket into Davy Jones locker.

LOL. Only obese ice fishing buddy I had was afraid to go on less than 10 inches. Wonder why...
