Spinner speed preferences

Tinkering w/ some gear assemblies today to try & get a spinner turning at 4 rpm in a 30 " circle. That would bring it back near your feet every 15 seconds. My son disagrees and thinks a lap should be double that & his brother thinks even quicker.

In my experience slower is generally better. Although I have also found that when one thing isn't working, try something else. Better make three and give a report.
