Ice still isn't safe there...that's my "home" lake and I've got a reputation for going through the ice. There are several springs right out in front of the air base landing and a good current running past that keep the ice thin.

SHANTES ARE ON THE ICE ABOUT 3 TO 4
INCHES
Just be sure to be careful and watch that snow cover. As soon as I get a report on the bite I'll let you know.
