Ice still good down 50 miles south of desmoines this morning 6" decent ice. After today it is over for me down here am planning a trip to boji next weekend then up to South Dakota early march ;)

I was out on hoop last night and there was maybe 3'' of clear ice and an inch of white. With the temps not freezing over night I would use extreme caution if you are going to fish here. Not to mention I think a lot of the bigger fish have been taken out. Lots of small ones left.
