Just looking for some reports on Wixom Lake or Sanford Lake ice fishing.
Been to busy to make it out, But hoping to get out this weekend.

 I don't know where your home base is.... but from what I've seen on my trips to Sanford, not many people anywhere. There were some people out before Christmas on the first fill. The water level in Sanford is WAY down. According to Boyce Hydro the drawdown is to minimize damage from ice and the spring runoff. Sanford dam is undergoing some maintenance work. One thing I want to do while the lake is down is to GPS most of the stump fields in my general vicinity. If you know where the "holes" are, fishing might be good??
