How's the ice at the public access at magician in Cass county?

Any of the lakes safe in Sister lakes, sail bay, Indian.  Would love to get out this weekend!  I will give ice report once I can get out!

We went out on it about 50 feet at the public landing yesterday.  We estimated it to have about 2 good inches of ice and several inches of honeycomb. Wasn't good enough to go further.  Expect it to be good by Sunday and plan on going then.

do they pull any walleye out of there during the winter? use to fish dewey and round lake during the summer when i live near bangor. Now i'm up in GR and hoping to move back down that way.

I've caught them in the summer,  but never tried on the ice.

I did some spudding out Saturday AM and wasn't much better than when you went Thursday, just more junk on top.  I didn't see a human on any of the Sister Lakes.  Snowmobile tracks on Round behind Driftwood. (Crazy)

Yes we did tried to go were you can see the deeper snow but got to dangerous before we even got that far maybe next weekend for sister lakes we went to kirk lk caught 12 nice gills lots of people there.
