Google maps did a great job this past fall retaking photos from satellite image.   You can tell where weedbeds, sandbars are.

Ive been staring at aerial photos for school, work and hunting for the last 10 years. I don't know why i just thought to use them for fishing.

not as glorious as it sounds. i compete mostly in ny but have been on espn out in the state of ok. its alot of work. there are no sick days nor rain delays. especially not too windy days. its challenging thats for sure, but fun at the same time. learn a lot quick!

Bing maps (birds eye and aerial) and google satellite or even google earth are all check out from time to time to see if there are updated maps, sometimes you can catch some winter images with ice on them too.
