Since there isn't much to say about ice fishing yet let me instead give my sincerest congratulations to Kansas for a great World Series victory by your Royals. Good job folks. Enjoy it.

I don't really give a hoot about baseball anyway. Just trying to be friendly. I've heard that somewhere east of here is a place called Kansas City where the Chiefs play a style of football and people eat a style of barbeque. Both are just fine. Whether it's in Kansas or Missouri doesn't make any difference to me. Really I'm just looking for ice thick enough to hold up an old fat guy long enough to catch a mess of crappie.
