My bro uses these. They actually work quite well.

Slayer-- It looks like you and your brother practice Paleo Ice Fishing. The ingenuity of early Man. It looks like if you got out the needle nose you could do a little over/under wire bending and eliminate the duct tape. Sell the idea to Frabill and retire.

before I started using castration rings I used duct tape for fastening my reels on my cheap China rods. A correctly balanced spring bomber and they'll do the trick

                      201 most likely if you have a vacuum use the little acc. piece that is used on chairs etc. perfect angle and just enough edge you can screw it right on your flipover sled.
