Northern CT Anywhere?
« on: Feb 13, 2019, 08:39 AM »
Peoples thoughts on ice conditions in northern part of the state?   How much snow did you guys get?  Have some warm days between now and then.  Not sure if the snow would help out a bit or hurt us?   Was going to go to highland or crystal, but I have a cousin that wants to go to Alexander which is a little further south.   Any thoughts?

Alexander's is a funny lake in how it freezes. Lots of springs on the lake so you have to be cautious. With that being said if I can make it by the lake to check it out I'll let you know.

Places north on New Milford holding up well. We got about 3-4” of snow with sleet and freezing rain on top. Haven’t been out since storm, but I’m thinking the ice is still good in northwestern CT. Fishon.
If you can't play nice, get off the ice!
