Humminbird 197c di

Have any of you used the hummingbird 197c down imaging fish finder for ice fishing?  I know there's other di models that can use the ice transducer but have not seen where anyone has used the 197c di model.

Down imaging on the ice doesn't work to its full advantage.
In order to reap the benefits of down or side imaging, your transducer needs to be moving 2-3 mph.
You will see an image using down imaging, but it will appear as regular 2D sonar image.
DI & SI are great tools for locating fish while driving around at slow speed in a boat but no
advantage to ice fishing with one possible exception. If the DI uses a different frequency,
and you are getting interference from other nearby sonar's, it may help you see through the other guys
sonar interference
Get bit!
