My favorite one was the vertical strike to, I could feel him rubbing up against the line when he was straight up and down. I didn't even know they could hit a jig like that.

Looks like a great outing!!!  Cool video.

Was there much slush on the lake.  I went to William on Sunday with my wife and 4 year old daughter.  Lots of slush and strong southwest wind made for short fishing trip.

The bite was slow on Bower on Saturday afternoon as well.

I might have to try Adam one of these times.

There was no slush whatsoever, and it was a real nice day with winds from the west. Ice thickness was around 10'' but there was spots where it was around 6''.  We had are sled out there with no problems.

Strikemaster2,

Normally we seem to catch one brownie every time we take the kids down for the fast and furious perch action at William, but, as I mentioned before we were hardly on the ice at all.  It was more of a ice thickness test with the auger trip rather than a fishing trip.

I started fishing William years ago, back when there was only rainbows in there, or at least that is the only kind of fish we targetted and caught out of there.  I hate to admit it, but I think I am getting old, yikes.
