for me its brook trout when the ice goes out then spring turkey season rolls around, then its crappie fishing then summer months its bass,bullheads, kings on ontario then fall deer hunting and brook trout fishing when the ponds cool back down then back on to the ice

trout/crappie/perch fishing, hiking, riding my mountain/road bikes. camping, bass fishing, more hiking. panfishing, then deer hunting. back to icefishing. i love new york!!

wow does hearing you guys talk about golf ever get me pumped to see some grass. we still have almost a month and a half of the hardwater here in north SK and this is usually the best time of the year both weather and fishing-wise. however i work on one of the nicest courses in SK http://www.elkridgeresort.com/golf/ and get free rounds/carts as part of the deal. we're currently under about 3 ft of snow so will have lots of greasy work to get the course ready but that comes after shed hunting and before our open water season, which starts with the best walleye fishing of the year and back country lake trout trips trolling in 20+ fish/day in waters so clear you can see fish on the bottom in 30 fow.

i love the ice but for the first time in years am looking forward to golfing, camping and getting the boat wet.

Ice, then trout, then stripers, then bass/pickerel, then stripers again, then trout again and back to ice! That covers the whole year!

I will fish until I can't walk out any more, then I will grab the kayak and go fishing.

Most important though is the motorcycle will come out to play. I have several long trips lined up this year. Hope to put at least 15k on the bike this summer.

It makes me sad. BUT there is next year,I can not walk so my son take me ice fishing,I my self have a place that is made for disable persons to fishing the warmer days,and as long as the water stays under 12ft. I will be OK. My son,Mike likes motorcycle riding so that is what he does in summer.He does fish a little in warm weather ,but his true passion hard water. Jerry

i go from ice, to trout, to turkey, to smallies and catfish on the river, then i work all sumer, back to college, small game, archery, deer hunting, then back on the ice again

also do a lot of small game hunting during ice season too.

Get out the kayak and fish along the ice as it receds jigging for browns and macks . then out comes the big boat with downriggers for macks.

I ice fish during the week at times but go every Sunday...after the ice is gone it will be adult league baseball on Sundays till August

Shad run at Conawingo (can't have more fun with an ultralight), striper on the flats, trout in the local streams, white perch and crappies in the local lakes, but i will still be missing the ice fishing.

After ice out it's beaver, otter, muskrat and mink trapping for me. Then trout and striper, till fall hunting and trapping season.

Right after ice out, stocking up on smelt for trolling, Fishing trout crusing the shallows, then its time to blast some spring gobblers and chase the brookies as they start up the streams for the summer, and head north to troll big spring brookies and lakers. Then its time to fish the big rivers for rainbows and browns and chasing the brookies in the small clear cold streams and trolling lakers in the north country right through late august. Then early goose season right into upland and waterfowl, deer, bear, fall turkey and if I'm lucky moose, a few fall trout trips and some more upland will bring me right back into first ice. To much to do and not enough money to do it! I've still got at least a good month, month and half of drilling holes in the ice first

I'll probably crank out some flies for trout and get stuff done around the house. Then it's Stripers on the Hudson, and fly fishing for trout and smallies. Usually a couple trips chasing stripers on the coast including Maine. Suicide runs to the Salmon River for Steelies, and back on the ice.
