How thick was that ice? Didnt even look like 3"

It ranged from 3-4.5"s for the most part. There was some questionable ice but it was all black so it was pretty good. There was no spider webbing going on so it was cool with me. 8)

Nice video, well done, my question is about the quality, your uploaded video looks very high quality, I'm shooting with a canon and the vids look awesome from the DV tape and on computer but I seem to loose some quality in the upload process, I've used photobucket and youtube, saving the edited videos in the highest quality possible, am I doing something wrong?

I use the free program that came with my computer i just got for christmas, Microsoft Video Maker. When I make the video file I just use the recommended quality. Then when I upload it to photobucket I use the highest quality. It may be what your using to edit/produce the movies. :-\
