Hours Drive
« on: Oct 27, 2019, 12:39 AM »
Okay that’s a lie it’s 1 1/2 hours but it sounded better that way.... Went up the Mirror lake highway today and the small lakes have about 3-4 inches average on them and mirror had 1 1/2 on it.

Very nice cl89. Thanks for the report. I expect to be up there in the next week or so. The cold front coming in over the next few days should help all the lakes up there out pretty good

Congratulations Crappielover89  guess the 2019-2020 ice fishing season has started for those who live near high elevation bodies of water and in certain parts of Alaska.

Well that's just great.....now I won't be able to concentrate on work all week! Barring any issues with the road between now and then, I will be heading up there first thing Sat morning.
You can't buy happiness, but you can buy fishing gear....and that's kind of the same thing.

Roads have been plowed and are still clear ( look at camera on Bald Mt. feed below this one) usually they plow till the second week of November but I don’t know if there is an exact science to how long they do or don’t.
