Does anybody know if an ice auger bit will fit on most of your landscaping/construction type power heads?

Can't say..... things you need to check, shaft size and rotation.

It could, but one important thing to consider is how it is geared. I know strikemasters are not geared as fast as jiffys because of the shaving blade design, where jiffy uses a ripper blade that needs more rpm's. If I am not mistaken, I think the landscaping powerheads are not geared as fast as the auger power heads. In terms of the actual attachment, jiffy ues about a 3/4" bolt through the bit and the driveshaft of the powerhead. Best bet would be to compare the gear ratios then take powerhead into a shop that carries the bits and see if you have a match!

I know that certain landscaping augers do work for ice if you get an ice bit. They are Badger, Ardisam and Eartquake.
