Windy Four Species Day (1/16/16)
« on: Jan 16, 2016, 03:00 PM »
Met up with Shaun (Fishslap) at sunup on a front range pond, and found good numbers of nice bluegill, perch, bass, and crappie.  Best bluegill were in the 8-8.5" range.  Could have easily kept a limit for dinner, but I have plans tonight and I'd rather watch football than fillet fish.  Most action came on a glow tungsten jig tipped with waxies, although some of the perch hit my jigging rap.  Wind kicked up late morning, and decided I had enough around noon.  Nothing huge today, but it was a great mixed bag day.

Flags up, gentlemen!!!

Nice mixed bag of fish.
The secret to fishing.....fish where the fish are.
