ice conditions on fort peck

was just wondering if anyone has fished on peck yet and how thick is the ice

i talked to owners of hell creek marina this afternoon....good ice in the bay but ice not out to peterson point yet...i see some cold weather on the horizon so the ice should build pretty fast...

I talked to a lady at Rock Creek Marina today (485-2560), and she said the ice and fishing are both excellent.  Big Dry Arm is froze all the way out into the main lake.  The Rock Creek Marina is closed for the season.  We're going up there in the morning.  Eyes, pike and ling are reportedly active.  I'll post under "ice reports" when I get back.  Also, the Red Rock Sporting Goods in Miles City is an excellent source of info, gear, bait, etc.  Their number is 232-2716.
