Strikemaster extension fit Eskimo?

I have a Strikemaster extension. The strikemaster blew up on my. So I bought an Eskimo. Out of curiosity I tried it on my Eskimo. It goes on and bolts up.. The only problem I see is the through bolt on the extension is a little smaller then the through bolt in the fighting. So I fear it might just get sloppy and elongated the auger through hole.
Has anyone ever tried it?  Any input would be appreciated.

See if you find a bit bigger of a bolt?

could tap a new thread into it possibly.

Would prob work like that but will just wear the opening into an even thread and opening Id imagine
