« on: Jan 23, 2018, 09:01 AM »
Talked to a fellow who was out on Montreal lake said a lot of snow getting on the lake, so they used sleds. When they returned both of there trucks were broke into, nothing much to take, just damage!

Was at Nemeiben Lake last week, a bit north of Montreal and there was about 18'' of powder snow in the sheltered areas, less and harder packed on the lake. After 30 years of leaving vehicles parked unattended for various lengths of time in the north I'd say breakins and vandalism are not to be unexpected.

How well does this camera handle the cold say -20? and how far can it be from the router?

Have they plowed the road onto the lake at Timber Bay or is it still nasty? How much snow on the lake?

Does anyone know if you can get onto the beach area on Montreal Lake just past the Bittern turn off at the site of the old Montreal Lake fish derby? I'm a little nervous now about leaving truck at Timber Bay.

Thats terrible aboutthe break ins

A guy I know was parked at bittern in the summer  came back and someone decided to take his sun roof out and borrow his spare change inside the truck

I don’t know about leaving a truck anywhere in that are whether it be Timber Bay, Beach, or Bittern. I learned a few years ago (after shovelling for 2 hours) to not leave sleds at home lol. We always sled out to where we setup. Now we may have to look into going to other areas

Went for a drive yesterday, Beach area you could access with a truck there are a couple truck tracks headed out onto ice not pretty but could be done. Timber Bay is sled access only.

Well looks like some warmer days coming, got to get out fishing somewhere. I will not be on a lake near a reserve till I see how that North Battleford court case turns out.

I think you can just keep that to yourself.

Was at Timber Bay on Sunday. Definitely sled only! Pulled out some guys with my truck. Would like to throw it out there that a Dodge pulled out a Ford! Lol Had a fun day with some family and pulled out a couple nice ones for eating.
