new augar selling old one

I just bought a new auger and am looking at selling the old one.  A buddy at work wants it just thinking about a price?  any thoughts?  It is a strikemaster mag III with the 2 hp motor about 25 years old and still running good.  I fish every day in the winter so I wanted a newer faster auger and went with the strikemaster laser.

being that old and sounds like you got your moneys worth out of it. $50-$100 possibly especially if it still runs good and the shaft is still straight. whats the rest of you think

I think that since its a buddy i would give him a good price on it. Somewhere in the range of 50-100 sounds about right IMO.

if it helps any i bought a strikemaster power auger made in the early 80's at a garage sale last year for $40 . it has a 2hp tanaka tas motor and a 7" drill on it. still runs like a champ too!

I bought my used Mag III from a guy for $20.  It runs like a top and actually cuts holes faster than my buddies Eskimo Shark.  It is a 8" model. 

Like others have said $50 - $100 for a stranger and if he is a good buddy then give him a great deal!!!

thanks you all for the feed back.  I was thinking about 100 the auger is newer and it does run good just needs a new stater cord.  any way thanks
