Access Chalet Beach

Heading out to Lake Winnipeg mouth of the Red tomorrow. We usually head out from Matlock but considering the Chalet Beach access. Are there any tricks to getting on there like parking or turning around etc? I've never been. Also heard of slush out there. Any truth to that? Thanks for the help.

I was there yesterday.   Lots of room to park and get around if you get there at a reasonable time considering second last day (was full of US folks yesterday, so add MBs to that).    No slush travel issues, but when drilling you drill as water from slush will seep into hole before you get through and bind your auger if you don't.
