2009 fishing license

I might do some icefishing in Iowa this winter and was wondering when the 2009 license goes on sale? It's been a few years since I fished there and it seemed like it was always in mid december when you could get the next years license. I read through the DNR site and couldn't find it.

   I know this years license is expired around Jan. 10, so probably the next day.

My hunting/fishing combo is always a Christmas present so I would think they are available now.

I usually get mine the week between Christmas and New Years. They should be available now I would think.

your licenese can be purchesed now and yes they always expire on jan 10 in iowa.  you can usually buy them the first week of dec every year.
