Has anyone herd anything on the perch fishing at big spirit?

Yep it's slow, mobiltys tough unless you have a snowmobile. I haven't heard of any great reports for awhile.

Last sunday i had a hard time even marking fish let alone getting one to bite. Hopefully it will turn around one of these days.

was out fishing Friday thru Monday very poor conditions we even got our quad stuck a couple of times in the slush pockets.  marked few fish and we were very mobile always on the move.  wait till April and bringing the boat

Did you get in on any of the perch action before she froze up?

4 nice perch and 2 gill, threw every kind of tackle at them just seems to be slow.

You fished 4 days for 6 fish? That was a long drive home.
Every plastics manufacturer claims plastics outfish livebait. So now I use livebait just for the increased challenge.

Stopped at a good farm pound I knew about and pick up 12 crappie and 25 gills so for puttin 600 miles on the truck it wasn't all bad.  Plus it was nice to meet some of the people up in NW Iowa.

I was on the lake Tuesday & Wednesday. The mornings were very slow, evenings were OK. Lots of lookers but not very many bites. Did get some walleye & perch.
Burly fish have whiskers....mean fish have teeth :)

Six of us caught 2 8" perch this morning no fish on the cams even the retired guys say it sucks!!!!

I didn't mark very many fish up there. Marked & caught fish near the middle. Haven't tried the south end yet.
