Im in the market for some new boots for this upcoming season. Im really looking for some Mickeys. Anyone know where I might be able to find a size 15 in these? Not many manufacturers make their boots that big. I noticed the Much Arctic Sports have a 15, but Id like to try the mickeys. Ive been calling surplus places, but no luck so far.........thanks for any help.

I got mine on Ebay for something like $40 shipped. Very warm and dry.
-
Most army and navy stores have them  :icefish:

The only place I found that carries them in size 15 is mickeymouseboots.com and the only width they have listed is narrow.

thanks Chris. but 190.00???? and the non bata variety. Wow, once again, penalized for being a sasquatch. I may have to reassess my situation here. I thought I could get some mickeys on the cheap, at least around a hundred bucks, then I wouldnt mind putting screws in them and have them as dedicated ice fishing boots. I'll keep looking around I guess. Thanks again

I hear you there, I hate looking for shoes since I wear size 14. I'd keep looking around and see if you can catch a deal some where.

Perchnut, I feel your pain, I wear a 15W. I have two pair of good pack boots with spare liners.

I would seriously consider these boots I own them Im telling you they are the warmest boots you can get. My feet always get cold and these are absolutely amazing. They do run big. They make a size 15 but im sure a 14 would be fine. Theres a ton of room in these boots. Very highly recommended.

Good luck finding that size. Sportsman's Guide has the boots for a good price. It appears that although they don't carry a 15, the 11 runs way oversized.

I just learned that the Cabelas brand boots have a LIFETIME warranty on wear and tear and craftsmanship.
What this means is you will never have to buy another pair of boots if u buy Cabelas. Just ship in you old ones, and tell them what pair you want in return. If the new pair cost more than you paid for your old pair, you just pay the difference...
Ill be shipping my old Cabelas that cost me $80 back for a new pair.. Pretty awesome..

That does take some of the sting out of dropping a bunch of money for a good pair of boots...
-
that's why I buy cabelas name products. I found that out 2 years ago and have been gradually converting. rain jacket, boots, waders, hunting clothes. etc. even the clearance stuff has the lifetime warranty.

Just like LLBean! ;D

Can't wait for the Cabela's to come to Hudson. Going to paint my name in a parking spot and setup an account for payroll direct deposit just for there LOL

Hudson, ny?

That is awesome deal

Just set my old ones in (80$ value) for a pair of the Tans Alaska Pac Boots. Normally 199, buy only cost 120 because of my old boots.
Now ill never have to pay for another pair again.
-
Good thing to know, thanks for the info!

Do you have to register the products or keep the receipts?

The only pair of Cabelas boots I ever owned were a couple years old and had been worn about five times when the soles started falling off in chunks. I called them and they said they wouldn't stand behind them because they were more than ninety days old. They went in the garbage and I have never bought another pair of Cabelas boots. I doubt this thread will change anything for me. they were the first pair of waterproof boots I have ever owned. The ones I have now came from wally world and have been working great for nine years and I have stood in water for hours.

BPS has lifetime guarantee wool socks, with Cabelas' boot deal you could be all set foot-wise! ;D

Wait... when is Cabela's coming to Hudson? I never heard about this!

That's Hudson Massachusetts... I didn't know there was a Hudson MA so I assumed it was in NY :(

I dont know if the lifetime warranty is a new thing or not.
As for the receipt.. I didnt have mine. I spoke to a rep via online chat and they were able to give me the invoice number and emailed me a copy of the receipt.
As stated right on their site :http://www.cabelas.com/custserv/custserv.jsp?pageName=ReturnsPolicy&WTz_l=Unknown%3Bcms778 (http://www.cabelas.com/custserv/custserv.jsp?pageName=ReturnsPolicy&WTz_l=Unknown%3Bcms778)
Cabela's brand clothing and footwear is guaranteed for the lifetime of the product under normal wear and tear and defects in workmanship.

I would like to update this thread with my recent run in with Cabelas when returning my boots with the "Lifetime Guarantee".
According to Cabelas the life time guarantee is only on the lifetime of the product. That lifetime is set by Cabelas, and you have no way of knowing what it is prior to purchase.
When you buy Cabelas brand boots just be aware that its roughly a 1-2 year warranty.
