i saw some small ponds swamps and the still river in bolton with ice on them and when i came home aruond 2 they were still frozen

with these cold temps some ponds in central mass might freeze over and some every small ones or maybe the backside of quaboug in brookfield might be frozen by sunday they are predecting some very cold temperature with lows around 15 an it was 18 on friday night so the water has gotten cold so a little colder weather and we will be all set.

The water has definetly cooled down. Had to break through a 1/2 inch of ice to reach open water for my last Saturday morning duck hunt. Fortunate for me and unfortunate for the ducks they all wanted to be in the small area of open water that I was in. I suspect some small bodies of water will freeze over by the weekend.
