Hi everyone,
We're just getting "Hooked On Ice" ready for business. My brother and I wanted one of these shacks, and figured if we told our wives that we were going to start a ice shack rental business, that it would be a little easier to run the purchase by them. But we are a little behind on the paper work (too much fishing), actually just trying to finalize insurance and liability issues. However, our first shack is ready to go, and should be available for rent within a couple of weeks.
We will have a rate sheet on our site in the next day or two. In the mean time if you send us a request we will send you a pdf of our rates.

Looks like a good time. :)

Welcome, and good luck with your business! A person could have a real nice winter vacation in that "shack".

Rates are now up on the site.

So will you take them to any lake or just within a certain radius of saskatoon ?
-
We don't have any specific rules as to where the shack can go, however these shacks (because of the home-like interior) aren't suited for extensive travel on rough terrain, so we do need to know where you intend to take the shack before we rent it. Pick up and return is Saskatoon. It also pulls very well on the Quick Skis. We've pulled it many miles with a Polaris Sportsman 800 ATV with tracks, through snow that was too deep our 4x4 trucks.

Are any of these units for sale or are you guys just starting up and only have a few as rental units?
-
Sorry, we don't have any for sale. Ours are customized quite a lot, however the shacks can be purchased from someone in Nipawin, here is the link on the Team Lodge site: http://www.ice-shack.com/factory-reps.htm
Hopefully that helps.

Do you hold an outfitting license? Be careful with this idea as it is considered "guiding" and "outfitting".
Cheers
