New to this cool forum ( pun intended)

Hi everyone, I just discovered this awesome site. It's great to know there's others like me that can't wait for winter. All I hear is complaining that it's right around the corner. Summer time is so busy I don't get time to fish. It seems in the winter everyone is hibernating and they quit bothering me. Nobody needs help landscaping, building, or those awful weddings. My motto is 20/20. 
When it's -20 and 20 inches of snow then it's my time, my favorite time. Hope to get know some of you fellow ice heads.  Tbone

You're as welcome here as the flowers in Spring. By mid-November you'll find that the Ice Rats are out in full force and the Forum will be humming with opinions and counter opinions and half-baked ideas and some deep wisdom mixed in. You may even change the way you fish. It's a crazy sport and there's something here for everyone.

That's funny. That's kinda what ice fishin is all about right lol. Long days on the ice with lots of time for the mind to wander and come up with all those half baked ideas. Sometimes alcohol is a factor too. People are simply amazed I ice fish since I don't drink lol.
