been doing some perch fishing for the last month and a half in chaumont bay, and we're going up again this sunday. Want to know if I'm going to be wasting my time getting up real early for eyes or just go at my regular time for the perch. We do real well on the perch there for the short time we have fished it ( 10" and up ) We live about an hour and a half away so any info it there are eyes there would help alot. If anyone would like any info on the jumbo perch there let me know and I will share......thanks for any info on eyes in advaced

In open water I fish out of Guffin Bay Resort & Marina which is not to far from chaumont bay. I hear they do well during the hard water, want to make the trip from pa sometime soon. Talk to the guys at Guffin Bay Resort & Marina Very GOOD People there, the owners are great.

i know guys get them there but i don't think they target them. all the ones i have seen caught were caught by guys fishing for perch that got lucky. They were all big eyes by the way, between 6lbs to 12lbs.
