Title: Ice Conditions Moosehead (Tomhegan)?
Post by: Orngwve28 on Jan 14, 2020, 07:23 AM: Plans are to fish near Tomhegan Cove this coming holiday weekend. I have watched the time lapse webcam at The Birches for a couple of days, but have not witnessed a snowmobile on the ice. Is there enough ice to bring our sleds?

Any ridges or spots that don't typically freeze well up in that area? Any fishing tips for that area are always welcome as well. First time heading over there after fishing the last 25 years up in the northern Maine woods.

Stop at Moosehead Bait in Rockwood, they should have the latest info on conditions.
