Ice will be on us soon enough. But in the meantime good luck to those of you whom plan to get out and try for some venison this November. Feel free to post pics!

Nice buck there hopefully you get him! Me I doubt I will get much time out in the woods this season will make for at least one or two outings, Alot of guys at work put in for November for vacations, Honestly I'm twice the fisherman than I am a hunter so I save my vacations for march (my personal favorite month on the ice) but best of luck to you

I have not had such good luck this year but it amazes me at the big bucks that are being shot this year is it me or is anyone else noticing this.

I hear ya there tipman my luck has been crap at best I've seen more deer during October but I got a few buds who have all taken big bucks

Got a small five point in VT the day after thanksgiving, no such luck in Maine this year. Maybe heading out to hit the ice this weekend. Ate the heart over a couple of days, what a treat. Also new to the forum, but have been reading posts here for quite some time.
