Nice setup!  I love my Quiversticks.  You probably already know this , but make sure to take the load off Powernoodles, the custom shops I've spoken with say the glass blanks will retain the bend of stored that way.

what are your thoughts on that CGI?  Thinking about that or the BB 6061.....hoping to get some insight.  thanks.

I like it, seems like a nice reel, the only thing is it doesn't have a spool guard so it can catch on your hand or glove, but it has a long stem so it wont be a huge issue at least for me. Overall it is definitely higher quality than the eagle claw equivalent, and I'd say it's better than the Frabill 261 or whatever design wise.

I hate when I see rods stored like that. If your not careful you will get a permanent bend in the tip if you store them loaded like that.

Here's my finese panfishing kit. All removable blanks and handles made by Adam Bricker. All the blanks are different lengths and thicknesses enabling me to change up according to what I need.

I almost hate to admit that I got them on Ebay and the are made in China by Singnol ( oh, the horror)  I was a machinist 40 years ago earlier in my career and I've always been a sucker for billet machined stuff.  When I saw them I just had to have them so I bid and won both of them for about $12 apiece.  I checked and they don't have anymore of the long footed ones but I did see this one that I like a lot because it has the cover to keep slack line from getting wrapped around its axle and its only $6 shipped.    http://www.ebay.com/itm/111508730817?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I saw some other cool looking reels from China, could you comment on the quality of yours? Obviously I am not expecting quality like my Sage fly reel, but would you say they feel decent?

I can't comment on the one that I attached the link too.  I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of my Singnol reels. They are very nice, my only complaint was that they sent me ones that were set up to reel with your right hand I thought I ordered the ones that reel with your left as I'm right handed and hold the rod with my right hand.  Though I got no response from the seller I was able to simply remove the wheel with one screw and reverse the gear dog and it solved the problem.  Otherwise the brake/drag works great and I'm pretty tickled with them other than not being made in the USA.  The reality is almost all of our stuff, comes from China now.   You can't blame them when our corporations decide to outsource everything offshore....
