Korkers ice boots
« on: Mar 12, 2014, 05:42 PM »
Has anybody tryed,  or have the new Korker 1200,or 600grs. thinsulate snow boots. They  come with 2 different ice cleats & have a neat fast change on/off system, for easy use. Cabela's was carrying the 1200 series but sold out of them with a great mark down. I'm thinking about giving my old Mickey's a break. They are a great warm bought , & I have been wearing them for over 40 years. I would like to go with a lighter, but, warm boot .Getting to old for all this walking. Thanks, Don.

I haven't used them but I have seen them up close. My first impression was that snow or dirt could get between the removable outsole and the fixed base. A little on line research found lots of reviews that confirmed my suspicions.

I dont have a pair but, my ice fishing buddy does and he loves them...says they are light, comfy, and always warm....he has the 1200s...says they are almost too warm.
