Was thinking of experimenting with a waterproof light in a hole just to see if it made a difference or not. I tried glo-sticks before but the cold water seems to slow the chemical reaction too much and they don't give off enough light. So I thought a waterproof battery operated LED light might do something. Anyone ever try playing around with something like that?

Kobey, i have fished a lot of pike waters in my life and never caught a pike at night. try it and let us know how you did....might just start something....lol

I won't be trying it at night, too cold for me after the sun goes down. But maybe on an overcast day it might bring in some curious fish.

Now would be the time to do it. I've always wondered if they feed at night during a full moon.

For years i would stay out until the bitter end , pretty much my experience has been after 3pm its over... Lol
