The 25th probably wont be the best, that is the weekend of the Cork Thornton tourney this year!

This last arctic blast has really firmed up the ice cap on Merritt and the Refuge lakes.  We're currently seeing around 11" on the Main Lake in front of the resort with some arms at 13"-14".  Barring a prolonged heat wave there should be good ice conditions for the foreseeable future.  I'm going to cast my vote for the first weekend in February because I like fishing close to the new moon.

I was wondering if any one was going to show up on friday to fish I would love to go put have to work on saturday let me know if you are and see if I can get together and fish
