does anyone have any experience with the Coleman sportcat heater
-
i tested it out for about an 20 minutes to see if it was worth buying off of a guy. I was wanting to see if it would replace my mr buddy heater. I did not feel that the heat output was any more than the mr buddy. Did you have a specific question about it.

I don't use the sportcat. I use the Blackcat. It won't tip over like the one you are looking at! I use it in a 2 man clam, gets too warm in my scout. In the clam it warms to shirt sleeve temps, at below zero weather.
Except for knocking over works great.
Got to go. Going to check out some ice!!
Keep it safe and watch out for the mountain loins!

I've got one I use in a Fatfish 949 and it makes it comfortable although probably not shirt sleeves when it's low single digits or colder. It starts easy and I haven't had any problems with it. Is there anything in particular you want to know?

I too had the Blackcat, which as stated, is more stable in my opinion. I had zero issues with it, and it made my one man flip quite comfortable.
What type of shelter are you using?

Ok like a heavy flannel shirt sleeve temp. >
