Twin Lakes in Sussex County ?
« on: Jan 16, 2011, 08:08 PM »
Anyone have any info on Twin Lakes in Kittatiny Valley State Park in Springdale just north of Andover.  Known maximum depth?  Species present?  Ice fishing report or conditions?  Thanks.

Fished it open water a few years back and hauled two lunker bucket mouths a day before the season opened. Pulled perch at last years YOJ ice derby as well as two that broke off, figuring pickerel. Jr has a few 'gills from there. No idea of depth. The first area, by the launch, is shallow as hell, after the narrows, it seemed to deepen up pretty good.

Okay, guys thanks.  Does anyone have any idea of ice thickness there at the present time?  Thank you.

I fished Twin Lakes many of times and I didn't get much out of it.

I don't think they stock it.

I used electronics to try and find the fish, too.  Not much going in there, I'd say.
