Title: What a great day for a ground blizzard
Post by: wingnutty on Jan 24, 2010, 04:44 PM
Sitting inside, watching the playoffs and somewhat thankful that there is a nice ground blizzard outside with 6"-9" of new snow and 35 mph gusts...On most weekends, if I'm not fishing or hunting I feel like I'm missing something, but today, I feel no obligation to go outside ;D

Getting back on the lake this week will be a challenge, I'm sure there are some double-digit sized drifts in places.  I've heard Southern Phillips Co. has 12' drifts.

We fished the east fork perch derby yesterday in hellatios winds and blinding snow. They cut it short a day and had the payout last night. But to Day sittind the house warm eating chips and drinking a cold one watching the games I'm not missing it.
