Deep Fat Fry Recipe
« on: Dec 11, 2006, 12:01 PM »
Here is a deep fry recipe that was given to me several years ago. I don't like to give out recipes, but this one is worth it.  8)  ;D

Bowl 1:
2 cups flour
1 cup crushed crackers
1 cup corn meat
to taste: salt, pepper, lemon pepper, or what ever you want

Bowl 2:
Couple of eggs
some milk
use fork or whip to mix

dip fish or meat into egg mix, dredge in flour mix, dip in egg mix, and dredge in flour again.
Put in hot oil
Fry until golden (3 -5 minutes)

You can try dipping it once, but doing it twice makes a really nice breading. I use this to make deer finger steaks and fish. I cut the meat in to 1/2" x 1/2" x 2" pieces. All quantities are approximate, as the recipe varies each time I make it.
