Boat Marina Winter Fishing
« on: Dec 14, 2012, 10:08 AM »
So thought i would post on here and ask everyone for their opinions. So the lake where i fish has a marina that gets to about 10 ft at the deepest and in the summer time is chalked full of long tall weeds, boats, seadoos, boatdocks and lots of pike. what is everyones thoughts of ice fishing this spot? any help would be great. thanks

-also in the summertime lots of shiners and perch inhabit this marina, along with what seems to be jackfish fingerlings very small (3-4 inches)

I know at early, late ice on Lk. St. Clair, this is a common practice, guys actually spud holes in ice , and fish off the docks.
