June walleye fishing adirondacks
« on: Mar 11, 2019, 05:28 PM »
June looking for a place to haul my boat for walleye fishing within 2 hours of plattsburgh.
I know this isnt about ice fishing, but who better to ask.
Never fished new york inland lakes and would like to discover new places.
Thank you.

Adirondack lakes really are not known for walleye fishing,if you are set on walleye fishing, you are better off hitting Henderson or Chaumont bay on Ontario.if you are set on fishing the Adirondacks, you are better off chasing l.l. salmon or lakers.

As has been mentioned the ADKs aren't know for walleye, but it does have some decent lakes. Fern Lake, Union Falls, Franklin Falls, Carry Falls, and Tupper Lake probably top the list. The Saranac and Raquette rivers have fishable populations, too. Notice the lakes I mentioned are part of these watersheds.
