camping at cascade
« on: Dec 28, 2011, 11:32 PM »
A buddy and I are driving up with our campers for new years for some fishing.  Besides all the parks there is there anyplace to set up by the water?  Just trying to look at what options we have.  Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure what part of the lake you will be trying to fish, but first of all i believe all the state park campgrounds are probably locked up for the season. So i would look to where the boat ramps are. I know on the south end Blue heron is a day use area close to the  water and open year round. I know guys fish off sugar loaf & poison creek and i believe they both have large area where you could park something.

Thanks, I stayed at blue heron in a camper before in the winter for ice fishing , they do leave that open I know, they shut off power in the off season and still charge.  Thanks idtrout.
