I WANNNA CATCH A SALMON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was my first fish through the ice at 3.5 years old, and beleive it or not, we got it on video tape, I was using a jiggin stick, and i pulled up about a 10 inch salmon, and sure as hell, i have tried for 27 years to get another one...........and no such luck. lol
Oh well.

A couple more from the last few weeks. We let go a togue that was 26" 8lbs but never got a picture.

Havent got any of fishing the hardwater in Maine (haven't hardwater fished there since 2001) but these brookies came out of a honey hole my Dad and I found about 18-20 years ago. Been fishing there every chance we get since. Never once have we come home without a limit. It slowed down a bit about 10 years ago but when we went this past spring... We caught probably 50 bookies out of a single hole in maybe an hour. When they are in that thick, you can stand to be choosey.

Not the biggest we have ever caught out of there (My brother and Dad pulled an 18 incher out of the same hole about two weeks after I came back up to Alaska) but these were the big ones that day (and one small one that took the hook too deep and fought too hard to release). Ten fish in the creel, sights I haven't seen in close to 8 years, and a sore back from carrying the canoe through the woods downhill for 3/4 mile. All in all, a great day.

7 mouths to feed (two toddlers) and ten brookies... MMMMMmmmmmm! What a breakfast we had the next morning!!!!
